WHERE ARE YOU? · SPECIALIZED SOLUTION

Your tool does its one job. The handoffs are where it leaks.

You chose a focused recruiting tool, an onboarding tool, or a standalone LMS, because the bundled option was too thin. Good call. This page is about what happens at the edges of it.

A specialized tool is half a fix: the tool without the plan.

Advisory-Only
your system, our method

First, the honest part

Sometimes the honest conclusion of a first session is that your system is fine and your process isn't. We do some of our best work on other people's software: same method, your current system, no rip-and-replace. If your tool genuinely is the constraint, we'll say so and show you why. Until then, nobody here is measured on moving you off of it.

And if you're mid-contract, that isn't a reason to wait. You're paying for the tool either way; the choice is whether to improve on it now or put up with it until the term ends. Advisory-Only was built for exactly this: we design and fix the process on the system you have, and if a move ever makes sense, it waits for your renewal date.

Sound familiar?

This is you if

The hire is made, and then everything is re-keyed.

The candidate's information lives in the ATS. Onboarding starts over in a different system, or on paper. The new hire fills in the same details three times.

Training requirements are assigned by hand.

Nobody told the LMS what role the person was hired into, so somebody has to remember which courses, which certifications, which renewals.

Nobody redesigned the process. They installed a tool on it.

The application is still long. The screening questions are still generic. The tool is faster at the same mistakes. And the people who set it up moved on after go-live.

Half a fix

What specialized tools are built to do, and not do

A specialized tool is half a fix: the tool without the plan, and usually without anyone staying after go-live. The complaints are consistent across the category: support that slips after implementation, modules that don't pass data between them, reporting as the number-one complaint, and cancellation terms nobody read. None of that makes the tool bad. It makes it incomplete, and the incomplete part is the part that produces results.

The first move

What we'd do first

Design the process the tool should be running.

In a free Talent Improvement Session we look at the one area that hurts, recruiting, onboarding, or training management, and score how it actually works today. Within 48 hours you get a Talent Improvement Plan. Often the first recommendations are changes inside what you already own.

Connect the lifecycle.

If the gap is between systems, we design the handoff: what a signed offer should trigger, what a new hire's role should assign, what an auditor should be able to pull in one report. Then we run that on the Visibility HR platform, or work with what you have in Advisory-Only mode.

Put someone on it after go-live.

You tell us what you want to change and why, and we make the change. That's the half no specialized tool sells.

Ask your vendor

Questions worth asking your current vendor

"When do we get to the things that weren't done during our implementation?"

And who makes the change in month 14?

"How does the new hire's data reach our training requirements?"

"Where do training and certifications live?"

For a recruiting-only tool, the honest answer is nowhere.

Cost, plainly

One investment to design and build, then one flat ongoing amount that includes the software and the team behind it, locked for three years, no escalator, additive to the payroll system you keep, roughly a quarter of what a full suite runs. A one-area engagement fits a specialized-tool budget. Advisory-Only, on your current system, is smaller still.

Bring your current tool. We'll work with it.

The Talent Improvement Session is free, runs about 60 minutes, and is not a demo. Pick recruiting, onboarding, or training management. Within 48 hours you get your Talent Improvement Plan. And nobody will chase you afterward.
